Reservations for any tour should be made as far in advance as possible through your travel agent. In order to confirm the reservation a deposit of U$ 100,00 per person is necessary. Final payment is due no later than 30 days prior to departure date. For reservations made within 30 days of departure, full payment must be received in order to issue final documents.
For reservation made within 21days of departure will be assessed a U$ 20,00 handling fee for express delivery of documents.
Revisions and Changes of Tours:
The first name change or itinerary change is free. Thereafter, each change will be subject to a U$ 20,00 fee. Please note that after documents are issued name changes are NOT allowed. IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO CHANGE NAMES ON AIRLINE RESERVATION.
Cancellations and refunds:
Once reservation is confirmed, all cancellations are subject to a U$50,00 cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 21days of departure date will be subject to a U$ 150,00 per person fee plus any charges imposed on Tours to Brazil by local operators and/or hotel. No refund will be made for cancellations made within 72 hours prior to departure date. New Year's and Carnival Packages are NON REFUNDABLE. All requests for refunds and cancellations should be made in writing and accompanied by the original receipts / vouchers prior to departure date. Cancellation fees imposed by air carriers will be applicable as regulated by the carrier involved.
Hotel Accommodations:
In the event the hotels listed are not available, Tours to Brazil reserves the right to substitute them for other properties of similar or superior quality.
Transfers:
Roundtrip transfers will be provided as specified in the itineraries. Baggage handling is limited to 2 (two) pieces of luggage per person.
Sightseeing Tours:
Will be provided as specified in the itineraries by a private car, bus or a motor coach with an English Speaking guide.
Not Included:
Any items of a purely personal nature and any other items not specifically mentioned are not included.
Taxes and service charges:
All taxes and tips are included, except airport taxes, gratuities to local tour guides, hotel bellman and Tourism Tax.
Disclaimer of Liability / Responsibility:
This Travel Agency is acting as intermediary or as agent for suppliers in selling services, or in accepting reservations or bookings for services which are not directly supplied by This Travel Agency (such as air carriage, hotel accommodation, ground transportation, meals, tours, cruises, etc) This Travel Agency, therefore, shall not be responsible for breach of contract or any international or careless actions or omissions on part of such suppliers, which result in any loss, damage, delay, or injury to you or your travel companions or group members. Unless the term "guaranteed" is specifically stated in writing on your ticket, invoice or reservation itinerary, we do not guarantee any of such suppliers’ rates, bookings or reservations. Your retention of tickets, reservations or bookings after issuance shall constitute a consent of the above, and an agreement on your part to convey the contents hereof to your travel companions or group members. This Travel Agency herein gives notice that it can not be held
responsible for any disruption of travel and/or related services in "trouble areas", due to Monetary Crisis, Political or Social; Unrest, Labor Problems, Mechanical or Construction Difficulties, Climatic Aberrations, Local Laws, Diseases, or Novel Conditions, including Terrorism.
